ideeli is the first invite-only shopping community in the U.S.

How does ideeli work?

All sale events start at 11:00AM (est), and have limited durations and quantities. Upcoming events can be viewed in Coming Soon, prior to each sale or giveaway, allowing our members to discover more about the featured products and discuss the event.

THE LATEST: Every day we start one or more sale or giveaway events that features one or more items. Whether it is a sale or a giveaway, all events are for a limited time (sale events are often less than 36 hours and giveaway events are often less than 10 hours). Sales always have a limited quantity. So it pays to move quickly if you see something you like. You're notified by email typically an hour before each sale event.

COMING SOON: The Coming Soon section at ideeli shows the items and experiences we'll feature in the next 30-60 days. Every Monday, we'll email you with all the new items that we have added to the "Coming Soon" section.

1st ROW MEMBERSHIP: For all of our 2nd Row members, ideeli is free and there's no fee to join. If you would like to shop earlier than everyone else and access a greater selection of products, you should consider upgrading to 1st Row Membership. With a 1st Row Membership, you can:

- Shop an hour earlier than our 2nd Row members for ALL of our sales events
- Access 1st Row Only sales not available to 2nd Row members
- Receive sale and giveaway event start times on your mobile phone via text message
- Enter our Giveaways via your mobile phone

TELL YOUR FRIENDS: Each time your tell your friends about ideeli and they buy, we'll automatically add a $25 credit to your account. Invite 10 friends who become ideeli buyers? Get $250 in credits. There is no limit to the number of invitations that you can send. As always: your privacy and that of your contacts is our top concern.

What is the ideeli promise?

Quality Guaranteed: ideeli stands behind the quality brand names and products we bring to you. We inspect every lot we receive from our brand partners and place a tamper-proof quality tag on most items. Please do not remove this quality tag from your purchased item(s) until you have inspected the item(s) carefully.

Notwithstanding the above, we may occasionally decide to feature items that may have small scuffs or damaged boxes. If this is the case we will indicate such in the item description; these are not considered manufacturer's defects.

Authenticity Guaranteed: All of our items are brand new, and authenticity is 100% guaranteed. Rest assured that we have definitive proof of the source of every item we sell.

How can you afford to offer these items at such amazing prices?

We make money on some of the items we sell, but even we can't make money on items that we give away. So the site is supported by our sponsors who want to let you know about their great products.

Are there any requirements to be a member?

Yes. You must be a legal resident of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia, who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction (which is generally 18 years old, but does vary state to state). You cannot have more than one membership. Sometimes we limit membership to people who have been invited by a current member or our media partners. In that case you can join our waiting list and we will let you know when we're accepting new members again.

MEMBERSHIP AND PARTICIPATING IN SALES

Do I have to be a member to buy at sales or enter giveaways?

Yes, you have to be an ideeli member to participate. We want to be sure that everyone is abiding by the rules, and generally, the more members we have, the more sponsors we get, and that means more items at better discounts and more giveaways.

Can I buy or enter before a sale or giveaway event starts?

No. You have to wait until it starts to buy or enter.

Where can I see what I can buy right now, or what items will be for sale in the future?

Items that will be sold or given away in the next 30 days appear in the "Coming Soon" section of the site. The order that events appear in this section isn't related to when they will take place. The events pictured in "The Latest" section are events with sale items that will start in less than an hour or events that are happening right now. When an event ends, it will remain in "The Latest" for 24 hours.

What's a sale start alert (and what's a giveaway start alert, while you're at it)?

You can see which items will go on sale in the next 30-60 days by going to the "Coming Soon" section of ideeli, or watch for announcements every Monday in your email. When you receive your "Coming Soon" email, be sure to visit the site so you can choose which items you'd like to receive start alert notifications about. If you'd like to hear about everything, keep the "Notify Me" boxes checked, their default status. If you'd only like to receive emails about a few of the items, make sure that only those items are checked for notification. Once you've chosen the items you'd like to be notified about, event start alerts sent to your email tell you exactly when a sale or giveaway will begin. Event start messages are typically sent out one hour before the start time of a sale.

What's the difference between the ideeli 1st Row and 2nd Row memberships?

ideeli 1st Row members can shop of all our sales an hour before 2nd Row members, which can be extremely helpful since our items can sometimes sell out in the first hour of a sale. 1st Row members also have access to exclusive "1st Row Only" sale events which feature only our most fabulous items.

Can I enter giveaways from the web?

Yes. When you are notified that the giveaway entry period has begun, it's as easy as logging into ideeli, checking out "the Latest" and clicking the "Enter Giveaway" button in the event listing. Be quick though; entries are accepted for a limited time.

How can I upgrade to 1st Row?

You can upgrade by clicking the "Upgrade" button featured in multiple places on the site and follow the instructions to have your 1st Row membership billed to your credit card on a quarterly or annual basis. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. 1st Row memberships automatically renew; to cancel go to "My Account" and click the "Membership Info" tab.

If you're new to 1st Row membership, you have 2 options for billing: annual and quarterly billing. Once you sign up, your membership will automatically renew at the end of your billing cycle as long as you have a valid credit card on file. If you're already a 1st Row member, you'll be able to change your billing plan and credit card information anytime. Please note, if you change your plan, your updated membership will start when the current paid period is over.

If your default credit card cannot be charged, attempts will be made using any additional cards on your account until your payment goes through or there are no more cards left to process. If your payment fails to process, you'll be notified and have 7 days to update your billing information before your account reverts to 2nd Row.

What are "1st Row Only" Sales in Events?

1st Row members are some of our best customers, so we host sales that are only open to the 1st Row. Needless to say, these sales will feature our most fabulous and exclusive items, and they won't be available to other members.

EVENT TYPES AND PRODUCTS WE OFFER

What is a sale event?

Every day, we work hard to give you access to the most sought-after products, often at privileged prices. The items may have spectacular prices but it's not only that. Some items are not yet available in stores, some are not even available in the US. We have a team of Style Experts and Editors dedicated to find these products for you.

All sales are sold on a first come, first served basis. It's usually one per customer, but rules vary by item. Click on the "sale rules" link next to the item's picture to get the specifics.

What is a giveaway event?

ideeli giveaways are an added bonus for our members. Giveaways feature hand-selected products, privileged access to fun events, and some surprises.

Giveaways occur at least once a week. Giveaways have different quantities of prizes, from one to hundreds or even thousands of units.

Entry is free and all ideeli members are eligible for the giveaways. Winners are always randomly chosen from those who enter during the entry period. Purchases don't increase your chances of winning. Members receive notice via email or text message when it's time to enter. To learn more, click the Giveaway Rules link in each giveaway listing.

In all cases, it is a great item to win. So generally you can only win one giveaway per month, and sometimes, only one per 120 days (check the giveaway's rules to see which). This way, it gives everyone a chance of winning. Sometimes we waive this rule, though, so be sure to look at the rules of the giveaway.
Naturally, demand will always exceed supply on these fabulous items, so we will choose randomly from either a maximum number of entrants, or from everyone who enters in a short entry window, or both. And, in the interest of full disclosure, no one who works for ideeli is allowed to get in on these deals. Ever.

When you are notified that the giveaway entry period has begun, to enter, you must log-in to ideeli, go to "The Latest", and click the "Enter Giveaway" button in the event listing. Then relax. You're entered!

We may change aspects of the giveaway rules at any time, so be sure to check each items' giveaway rules by clicking that tab next to the item's picture.

What is a Tell A Friend giveaway?

The Tell A Friend giveaway is a way to share ideeli with your friends and have a better chance at winning some exciting giveaways. As always you $25 credit the first time a friend makes a purchase.

What is a valid entry to a Tell A Friend giveaway?

Valid additional entries are from unique individuals who create a valid ideeli account within the entry period. Any member (win or lose) with invalid entries are disqualified, and ideeli reserves the right to terminate their membership - see Giveaway Official Rules for more details.

What kind of products do you offer?

Anything that's fabulous and special for you, sometimes because we can offer it at a spectacular price, or sometimes because it is only available to you as an ideeli member--sometimes both. All of our items are handpicked, and our editors are experts at finding the gems.

We only buy our items direct from the factory, or from authorized dealers, boutiques, showrooms and department stores.

How can you offer these deals and still make money?

The site makes money from product sales and 1st Row subscriptions, and is supported by our sponsors who want to let you know about their great products.

That's how we make our money. We don't earn it this way:

We don't make money selling your personal information.
We don't make money selling your email address--or anyone else's.
We don't have any hidden charges.
We don't inundate you with telemarketing calls.
We don't send spam emails to you.

What are ideeli events?

An ideeli event is an exciting event consisting of either products for sale or special giveaways. Members can be notified about ideeli events via email and text message.

No two events are the same. Our editors constantly add new events to ideeli's "Coming Soon" page, so that ideeli members stay in-the-know about the latest and greatest in fashion, beauty and home products.

Check out the "Coming Soon" page often to stay posted on the upcoming sales and giveaways that interest you. You can expect to be notified about these events within a few weeks from when they post to this section. However, you can also opt out receiving an event notification by deselecting the check box within the event.

IDEELI ESCAPE

What is ideeli escape?

ideeli escape is our travel offering. During these events members have access to the best in travel (hotels, cruises, vacation packages and more) as selected by our buying team.

Each ideeli escape is brought to you by a select ideeli partner and feature exclusive prices just for ideeli members.

How does it work?

ideeli escape events function just like all other ideeli sales. Members will be notified via email an hour before sale begins for First Row at which point they can preview the full event.

If you like one of the escapes available you will go ahead and purchase it through ideeli. Your credit card will be authorized but NOT charged for the package.

Once the sale ends members will receive an ideeli questionnaire needed to complete your reservation.

An ideeli team member or escape partner will book your escape and will send confirmation once booked.

If ideeli cannot book your escape based on your desired dates your card will never be charged.

Can I customize my escape?

On most escape sales ideeli has negotiated the ability for our members to customize their escape. In particular members may be able to add additional people to a reservation, extend the trip, request room types and more.

Our partners will make the very best effort to accommodate any special requests but cannot guarantee they will be able to do so.

Limited escapes may NOT be customized. In those instances it will be noted prominently in Specs + Sizes.

Note: Some customization may increase price of the package.

Can I cancel?

Members may cancel their escape before receiving confirmation. We encourage members to thoroughly research escapes ahead of sale date including air travel if not included with package.

Due to limited availability canceling after purchase may mean a fellow ideeli member cannot participate in this offer.

I don't see this escape available anywhere else, why?

This is very common within travel. Often escape providers create a unique offer not available anywhere else. ideeli escapes are packaged to directly appeal to the ideeli members.

How can I sponsor an ideeli escape sale?

GETTING NOTIFIED

Can you let me know when you post items?

Yes. As soon as you are a member, we will begin sending you event start alerts via email that will let you know when a sale starts or a giveaway entry period begins. Typically you'll receive this up to one hour before the event for sales and at the actual start time for giveaways. We'll also send you a weekly email every Monday that lets you know what new items have been added to "Coming Soon" so you can preview items before the sales start.

I got your sale alert and went to the site as soon as the sale started, but the list was full/the item was sold out. What gives?

For very high demand items, things can happen really fast. We send all sale and giveaway alerts at the same time, but sometimes they reach members at different times because of the nature of the networks we use to communicate with you. We watch this pretty carefully to try to have enough product available. It's random though, so keep trying and you'll eventually succeed.

How do I unsubscribe from the email notifications?

To turn off email notifications, click the "unsubscribe" link in any ideeli email. Alternatively, you can update notification preferences by going to "My Account" and clicking on the "Password & email" tab.

How do I change my notification preferences?

Now members can choose which events to be notified about right on the "Coming Soon" menu bar. By deselecting the checkmark on the small grey box in the upper right corner of an image, members can opt out of notification.

"Event Details" Page
Members can also opt out of notification for a specific event by deselecting the checkmark on the box next to the large product image on the "Event Details" page for that event.

All Notifications
Additionally, ideeli members can opt out of all event notifications. Simply log into "my account", choose the "Password & email" tab and update your preferences in the "ideeli notification settings" section.

Can I receive notifications through Twitter?

ideeli now supports messaging via Twitter.

In order to send or receive messages using Twitter, visit http://twitter.com/ideeli (if you're not already a member, sign up--it's free) and begin "following" ideeli. Now you'll receive our sale notifications on Twitter! It's that simple.

I want to receive notifications via SMS message. How does that work?

You can now receive SMS message notifications using Twitter.

To setup SMS notifications through Twitter please follow these steps:
1. Join Twitter (www.twitter.com)
2. Go to Setting in upper left. Choose Devices tab.
3. Enter your mobile number. Check the box "It's okay for Twitter to send
txt messages.." and click Save.
4. You will be asked to verify account. By default you will receive no SMS
notification and must opt-in.
5. Go to www.twitter.com/ideeli_events
6. Choose Follow. A green check will now appear and an icon with a phone in
a circle.
7. Click the mobile phone icon and it will turn green.
8. Congratulations! You now have SMS notifications for ideeli events.

FACEBOOK CONNECT

What is Facebook Connect?

Facebook Connect allows you to connect your existing ideeli account to your Facebook account.

What will this allow you to do? Once you connect your accounts, you will be able to login to ideeli using your Facebook account. You will also be able to share all of your favorite ideeli events and experiences with your Facebook friends via your newsfeed. Share with friends and ideeli will automatically include an invitation link your friends can use to join. As always, you receive a $25 credit the first time your friend buys.

Worried about privacy issues? Don't be. ideeli will not access your Facebook account without your prior authorization and you can disconnect your ideeli and Facebook accounts at any time.

How does Facebook Connect work?

1. You must connect your ideeli account and Facebook account.
2. You'll need to log in to ideeli using Facebook Connect.
3. Each time you see "Share on Facebook", you can share that event or action with a friend. You'll only see "Share on Facebook" if you are currently logged on with Facebook Connect.
4. You can choose to send a one line message to your newsfeed, or send a longer story.
5. You must confirm the message before it is sent to your newsfeed, unless you choose to automatically post one line news feeds every time.

How do I connect my ideeli account from my Facebook account?

In order to connect your ideeli account to your Facebook account, you'll need to log out of ideeli and log back in. Here are the steps you'll need to take:

1. Go to the ideeli login screen: https://www.ideeli.com/login.
2. Click on the Connect button.
3. If you are prompted to enter your Facebook email address and password, enter them. Note that this goes directly to Facebook, and ideeli does not have access to your Facebook password.
4. Click the Connect button.
5. Enter your ideeli username and password.

Your ideeli account will now be connected to your Facebook account!

How do I log on to ideeli using my Facebook account?

The first time you connect your accounts, you'll automatically be logged on to ideeli once the connection is completed.

Once your accounts are connected, there are 2 ways to log in to ideeli:

1. If you are already logged into Facebook, just go to the log-in page and you will automatically be logged into ideeli.
2. If you are not already logged into Facebook, just click on the Connect button from the log in page on ideeli and enter your credentials to log-in.

How can I log on WITHOUT using Facebook Connect once I'm connected?

Once you've connected your ideeli account and your Facebook account, you can easily log in just using your ideeli account:

1. Make sure you are logged out of Facebook.
2. Make sure you are logged out of ideeli.
3. Go to the ideeli login screen: https://www.ideeli.com/login.
4. Login in using your ideeli username and password (without clicking on the Connect button).

How can I share what I'm doing on ideeli with my friends on Facebook?

Before you can share your ideeli experience with your friends on Facebook, you must first connect your ideeli account with your Facebook Account and log in using Facebook Connect.

After that you can share all sorts of things with your Facebook friends such as:


  • Share an event in Coming Soon: Click on the "Share on Facebook" link on the event you'd like to share with your friends

  • Share an event in The Latest: Visit the event once it's entered The Latest and click on "Share on Facebook"

  • Share a giveaway entry: When you enter a giveaway, you'll be presented with the option to post your entry on Facebook

  • Share a giveaway win: when you claim your prize, you can share your win or your comment on Facebook

  • Share a comment: when you make a comment on an event, post it to your Facebook newsfeed at the same time

How do I change my settings to no longer automatically publish a story when I choose to "Share on Facebook"?

If you chose to always publish stories for ideeli at some point and you now want to be prompted each time you want to post a story, just follow these steps:

1. Log in to Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/.
2. Mouse over "Settings" in the upper right hand corner "Select Application Settings".
3. On the "Show" drop down, select "Allowed to Post"
4. Locate ideeli.
5. Click "Edit Settings" to the right of ideeli.
6. Choose the best option for you and click, "Okay".

How do I disconnect my ideeli account from my Facebook account?

In order to disconnect your ideeli account from your Facebook account, you'll need to log in to Facebook directly. Here are the steps you need to take:

1. Login to facebook: http://www.facebook.com/.
2. Mouse over Settings in the upper right hand corner
3. Select Application Settings
4. On the Show drop down, select "Authorized"
5. Locate ideeli
6. Click on the "X" at the far right next to ideeli
7. Click on "Remove" to disconnect your ideeli account from your Facebook account

TELLING YOUR FRIENDS ABOUT IDEELI

Why should I tell my friends about ideeli? More people means I have less chance to buy and win all this great stuff, right?

We are working hard to make sure that we have enough products and prizes to create a positive ideeli experience for our members.

That said, there are plenty of great people who want to join, and we will accept enough people to fill out our membership. So you might as well help your friends out, particularly since we now give you a $25 credit for each one of your friends who joins and buys something on the site. Anyway we'd prefer to have your friends, because we're so fond of you, and we're sure they're equally charming.

What is the referral credit?

The ideeli referral credit rewards our members who share their love of ideeli with friends. Whenever a friend joins through your invitation and makes a purchase for the first time, your ideeli account will be credited with a referral bonus, which is currently $25. For each friend who joins ideeli and makes a purchase, you earn a referral bonus. You can earn one referral bonus per new member who buys.

How can I refer a new member?

After you become a member you will see "Tell A Friend" buttons and links in multiple places. Most prominently it is located in menu on the top of each page, but can also be accessed on the event bar. These buttons and links will take you to our invitation page where you can invite all your friends.

In order for you to receive a referral credit, your friend must click the link at the bottom of the invitation email or in your Facebook profile to join, then make a purchase.

Do I need to type in each one of my friend's email addresses to invite them?

No. You can use your email address book through all the major webmail services (Gmail, Yahoo, AOL, etc.) or import contacts from Outlook. You can also invite your friends on Facebook with one click.

Is there a limit to the amount of people I can invite?

Today we are not placing a limit on the amount people a member can invite, but to ensure that we provide a great shopping experience for our members, we may limit or suspend invitations in the future.

Is there a limit on the amount of credits I can earn and use?

There are no limits to the amount of credits you can accrue. If you have 3 friends who make purchases you'll earn $75, and so on.

Do referral credits expire?

Yes. Referral credits are valid for 180 days from the date that your friend makes their first purchase. You can see when your credits expire by clicking on the "My Credits" tab in "My Accounts."

What if I have $100 in credits and want to use them to buy a $90 item? Will I get a $10 credit in my account?

No. We don't provide partial credits back. If you only use part of a credit for a purchase, that credit is considered redeemed.

Can I get my referral credit in cash, or can I transfer them to another member?

No and no. The referral credits can only be applied to your ideeli purchases, and have no cash value.

Where can I track my invitations and credits?

Click on "My Account" in the upper right corner of ideeli.com. Click on the "My Invitations" and "My Credits" tabs; there you can track who you've invited, whether they have joined or not, and if they've joined, whether they've made a purchase. "My Credits" gives you the dollar amount you've earned to date.

Does the one membership per person rule still apply?

As always, you and your friends can only have one ideeli membership per person, and naturally any person with multiple memberships will be removed and will forfeit all accrued credits.

Why have Tell A Friend giveaways?

ideeli is member only website . We are working hard to make sure that we have enough products and prizes to create a positive ideeli experience for our members. To do so we need to increase our membership.

That said, there are plenty of great people who want to join, and we will accept enough people to fill out our membership. So you might as well help your friends out, particularly since we now give you a $25 credit for each one of your friends who joins and buys something on the site. Anyway we'd prefer to have your friends, because we're so fond of you, and we're sure they're equally charming.

We promise that any winner of a Tell A Friend giveaway will have all invitations thoroughly audited using proprietary means to do so. In addition, on a real-time basis we are auditing invitations by each member on the Leader Board for valid entries (see. Some names may continue to appear on the Leader Board even after disqualification due to continued addition of invalid entries.

What is a "Personal Invite Link"?

Now you can share ideeli with your friends using your Personal Invite Link. Your Personal Invite Link was automatically created for you using your ideeli username. If you wish to change your Personal Invite Link, you can, as long as the Personal Invite Link you want is not already in use.

To customize your link, click "Edit Link" on this page. Don't worry if you edit it after you have given out your original invite link. You'll get credit whether your friends use your old link or your new link to join.

As always, you'll get a $25 credit for each friend who joins using this link and makes a purchase.

What's in the Blog?

The blog shows when all of ideeli's items were first posted, as well as all things ideeli - fashion news, other sale events that you should know about (on the web and otherwise), cool happenings that we think you'd be interested in, and more.

Do I have to be a member to make a comment, or see other people's comments?

You don't have to be a member to see comments, but you have to be a member to make one.

Where can I see what other people are saying, or make a comment?

We encourage all our members to post their questions, opinions, and experiences about each of our items, as well as what they think about ideeli. Each item listing in "Coming Soon" and "the Latest" has a link called "Discuss this item". Click it to see comments, or if you're a member and logged in, to make a comment.

What is not allowed in comments?

First, keep in mind that we're not responsible for the content of any user- submitted post on ideeli. Notwithstanding that, we try to enforce some simple guidelines:


Don't post personal information such as addresses or phone numbers.
Don't post any advertising.
Don't post anything about the mechanics of ideeli's sale system, or any information that encourages people to game the system or cheat.
Don't post fake reviews of an item you have not physically seen or used.
Don't post anything that isn't safe for work, or safe for kids.
Obviously, spam and its ilk are a big no no.

ORDERING AND SHIPPING INFORMATION

There's more than one active sale event shown today. Can I buy from more than one sale? Will they ship in the same box?

Yes, you can. So if you want the first item, click the "I want it" button and add it to your shopping cart. Then go back to "The Latest" page, choose the next item and add that, too. Then proceed to check out your items. Remember, though, sometimes you can only order an item in one color, so be sure to check the "sale rules" for details. Generally we will ship the items you order in the same box, but sometimes they will come in more than one. You will get a tracking number sent to you via email for each box you'll receive.

What sizes and colors can I get an item in?

Photos of the item in other colors will appear to the right of the main image. Clicking on each color will change the main image to display that color. If you don't see pictures of the item in other colors, none are available. Click on the "I want it" button. What's still available is indicated on the next page. Keep in mind that until you complete your purchase, availability is not confirmed.

With ideeli's new and improved design, we want to be clear on how shoppers can easily view their product's specs and sizes (for example: size, weight, fabric) when perusing various events.

Can I add items from multiple listings into one order?

Yes. You simply click "I want it" and add the item you want to buy to your shopping cart, then go back to "The Latest" and do the same for the next item you'd like to buy. When you are finished, proceed to check out. Remember that until you click "Check Out" and have entered a valid billing address, item availability is not guaranteed.

What are my shipping options? Where do you ship?

We generally ship via UPS ground. We will only ship to addresses in the continental US, Hawaii and Alaska, and won't ship to FPO addresses, or hotels. Sorry.

How are shipping rates calculated?

To make your ideeli shopping experience even more enjoyable, we have streamlined our shipping rates. Now, our shipping is generally $10 for all items regardless of quantity or value. Certain exceptions may apply and will be noted on the specific event.

Please note, however, that shipping may occasionally be more or less depending on weight, size or other shipping restrictions of certain items.

When will I get it?

We may take up to 10 business days from the close of a sale to ship. UPS ground, our usual delivery service, takes from 5 to 7 business days to reach you in the continental US, and longer for AK and HI. Once we ship your item, we will send you an email with your UPS tracking number. Please don't contact us to find out what your tracking number is until at least ten (10) days after a sale ends.

Do you take returns?

We have a 14-day return policy for shoes and apparel. You must initiate the return process within 14 days of the original ship date from ideeli. The original ship date can be found on your shipping box label or in your shipment confirmation email. (That's the one with your tracking number.)

No returns, credits or exchanges will be accepted on the following items: Accessories, Beauty and Fragrances, Home Décor, Handbags, Hosiery, Intimates, Jewelry, Leather Goods, Swimwear, Sunglasses, Vintage, Wallets and Watches. These items are for final sale only.

To see if an item that is currently on sale is returnable, go to the item’s detail page, then click on the Return Policy link.

To see if an item that you’ve already ordered is returnable, go to your My Account page on ideeli. On the My Shipments tab, click on “View Order” next to the order containing the item you would like to return. There will be a “Return Policy” link for each line item that you can click to view that item’s return policy.

How do I initiate a return?

If a product is returnable you will be able to submit a return by going to the My Shipments tab on the My Account page. Click on “Process Return” next to the order containing the item you would like to return. Once you have completed the return online, you will receive an email with a shipping label within two business days. Please print this label and follow the instructions in the email to return your items.

If you believe your item is defective or was damaged in transit, please contact us at orders@ideeli.com within 48 hours so we can resolve the problem.

I'm a retailer; can I get a volume discount?

No; that takes the fun out of it. We're trying to get fabulous stuff in the hands of as many members as we can, so we aren't kidding about limiting most things to one per customer. Plus, we reserve the right to revoke someone's membership if we find that they are gaming the system.

Why are some items unavailable to California residents?

Some products may require us to exclude California residents from purchasing because, according to California state law, the sale, import, and/or shipment of any part or product of the following animals is illegal: polar bear, leopard, ocelot, tiger, cheetah, jaguar, sable antelope, wolf, zebra, whale, cobra, python, sea turtle, Colobus monkey, kangaroo, vicuna, sea otter, free-roaming feral horse, dolphin, Spanish Lynx, and elephant. Do you charge tax?

Sales tax is applied to your ideeli.com order in accordance with individual state and local regulations. If your shipping address is in New York state, tax rates are specified by http://www8.nystax.gov/STLR/stlrHome.

Appropriate tax charges will appear on your order confirmation page during checkout.

Where can I find tracking information for my order?

Once your item has shipped, we will send you an email with a tracking number you can use to track your shipment.

Can I make changes to an order after I've placed it?

Yes, you can make changes to an order up to 2 hours after the time you placed the order. You will be able to make the following changes to your order:


  • Decrease the quantity on a line item

  • Remove a line item

  • Update your shipping address

  • Update your billing information (including the credit card you used to make the purchase)

If it has been more than 2 hours since you place your order, you will need to contact customer service to make changes.

How do I make changes to an order?

You can access the Update Order page in one of the following ways (as long as it is within 2 hours of the order time):


  • Click through from the order confirmation email

  • Go to the "My Shipments" tab on the "My Account" page and click on "Update Order" next to the order in question

On the Update Order page, you can do the following:


  • Click on "cancel your order" to completely cancel the order. You will be prompted to make sure you did not click on this link by mistake.

  • Select a different stored credit card to use by clicking the radio button next to the card you would like to use.

  • Click on the "Enter a New Credit Card" button to use a new card. You must click on the "Save" button to use this card.

  • Click the "Edit" button to change the Billing or Shipping Address. You must click on the "Save" button to update either address.

  • Click on the "-" button on a line item to decrease the quantity. You will be prompted to make sure you did not click on this button by mistake.

  • Click on the "Remove" link on a line item to remove the line item. You will be prompted to make sure you did not click on this link by mistake.

  • If you have discount vouchers or stored credit, you may enter an amount to apply to the order.

All changes will take place immediately unless you are prompted for confirmation or are required to click on the "Save" button.

SHOPPING CART

How do I add an item to my cart?

Once you are on the screen for the item you'd like to purchase, click on the "I Want It" button for the color and size you've chosen. The item will be added to your cart and the cart will pop up showing you all the items currently in your cart. If you'd like to continue shopping, just close the cart pop up and add other items you would like to purchase by clicking on the "I Want It" button.

You will have 15 minutes from when the first item is placed in your cart to complete your purchase before your items are removed from your cart and made available again to all members. Once you proceed to checkout, we’ll give you extra time to enter your billing and shipping information (if your time is running low).

Why is there a time limit on my cart?

To give all our members an equal chance to get great items, the items in your cart are reserved for 15 minutes from when the first item is placed in your cart. If you do not proceed to check out within that time, your items will be removed from your cart and made available again to all members. If you still want the item and your cart timer has expired, you can return to the sale and put the item back in your cart (if it is still available).

How do I get back to the cart once I've closed it?

If you'd like to view the items in your cart after you've closed it, click on the cart link in the upper right-hand corner and your cart will pop up. The clear display also shows how many items you have in your cart, and how much time you have left to make your purchase.

How do I remove an item from my cart?

Open your cart by clicking on the cart link in the upper right-hand corner. To remove an item, just click on the "Remove" link to the right of the item you would like to remove.

How do I empty my cart?

Open your cart by clicking on the cart link in the upper right-hand corner. To empty your cart, just click on the "Empty Cart" link at the top or bottom of the cart.

How do I increase or decrease quantities of items in my cart?

Open your cart by clicking on the cart link in the upper right-hand corner.

  • To increase quantity of an item already in your cart, click on the "+" button next to the item in question. Note that you will not be allowed to add more units of that item if the item is sold out or you already have the maximum number of units you are allowed to purchase.

  • To decrease the quantity an item already in your cart, click on the "-" button next to the item in question. Note that if you only have 1 unit in your cart, this is the same as removing the item from your cart.

How do I complete my purchase using a stored credit card?

Open your cart by clicking on the cart link in the upper right-hand corner. Click on Check Out Now and you'll be re-directed to the Check Out page. Once you're on the Check Out page, you can select the stored card you'd like to use under Payment Method, verify your billing and shipping addresses, and click on "Place Your Order". Note that if you do not already have a credit card stored, you will be prompted to enter your billing information before you are re-directed to the Check Out page.

How do I complete my purchase using a credit card that is not stored?

Open your cart by clicking on the cart link in the upper right-hand corner. Click on Check Out Now.

  • If you do not already have a credit card stored, you'll be prompted to enter your billing information. Make sure "Save Card" is not checked and click on "Continue to Check Out". You'll be taken to the Check Out page, where you can verify your billing and shipping information before you click on "Place Your Order".

  • If you already have a credit card stored, you'll be taken to the Check Out page. Here you can click on "Enter a New Credit Card" and save the card, making sure "Save Card" is not checked. To complete your purchase, click on "Place Your Order".
